DUI - a Two Step Process

A DUI is two step process. You have the court process and you have the Department of Motor Vehicles.

We are trained to represent you in both aspects. The court will decide, do we fine you, do we sentence you to community service, and the DMV will determine what happens to your driving privilege. They have their own administrative hearing, which is basically an informal court process. If we win, nothing happens to your license, and if we lose, they suspend your license.

Meanwhile, the court process is going on, and you need an attorney who understands both processes, and can represent you to the fullest extent. Not only at the court proceeding, but with the Department of Motor Vehicles as well.

That again takes training. I personally attend the training seminars each and every year, to make sure that I'm up to date on the case law and the science, so that I can properly defend you when facing a DUI. Which not only effects you personally, but your family your friends, your right to drive to and from work, and everything that may be important to you.
